Little Hikers Adventure Club Do you have a 2-5 year old who loves nature? Come enjoy the wilderness path we have located past the pavilion at FBC Linesville on Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, little hikers will be provided a devotional from Pastor Brian and a snack afterwards. Families are free to stay and socialize at our pavilion and playground afterwards.
Fishing No need to have ever gone on a fishing adventure in order to join this workshop. Our leaders will be teaching the youth how to tie knots, set up a pole, and cast during the first session on Friday June 12 right here at FBC Linesville out by the pavilion. We are inviting parents to bring their youth the following day out to the spillway where everyone will be learning to catch those fish. Be sure to listen in during our devotional times learn about the Godly men that Jesus had around him that were fisherman.
Bench Making If you enjoy making things with your hands, you're sure to love our bench making workshop. We will provide a devotional to you June 17, from 6 to 8 PM and then begin constructing some simple benches for your outdoor path located right behind the pavilion in the woods. All benches created will be donated to FBC Linesville so many can enjoy the peace of sitting out in nature.
Rocketry Ever look up and view the sky and see all of the awe and wonder that it holds? Ever want to send a rocket up into it? Well, if that’s you then sign up for our rocketry workshop where youth will build and launch rockets! Rocketry represents freedom, adventure, and faith. We will be learning about our faith and how living it out honors God in our devotional throughout the day on Saturday June 27.
Creative Writing Do you enjoy writing? Do you have thoughts and feelings you would like to be able to express better? Are you interested in learning more about creative writing? If you are, we are having a creative writing workshop from July 6-8 with free workshops helping you learn more about writing poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. We will learn to use the gifts God has given us to express ourselves better-- looking at the Psalms in daily devotionals to help us grow intellectually as well as spiritually. If you are 12+ and interested in attending, please sign up using the form provided.
Crafts God loves youth. Youth love crafts. So come on out and join in a great time of loving the Lord your God and creating some amazing crafts that will utilize your gifts and honor God in a great time of fellowship. Our wonderful team of leaders are excited for the opportunity to share in this wonderful experience with you July 13-15 @ 6-8PM.
Clay Making God is the potter and we are the clay. What does that mean? Well come and learn how to form clay into some amazing things on July 20-21 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM as our very own Nicole Kent leads us into the world of clay making. This workshop is for anyone 12 and up.
Leather Making Come join us for our summer Adventure Club as we will be making a leather key fob. This will be for kids 6 through 12 years old and will meet at the pavilion on Thursday July 23rd from 6 to 8 PM. We will also be having a devotional where we will learn portions of scripture that describe the purpose and uses of leather throughout the Bible.
