FBCL Activities
Men’s Breakfast – A morning of faith/fellowship/food for men and young men. Every second Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.
50+ Luncheon – Friends, food and fellowship. Every other month on the third Thursday at 11:00 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.
Pickleball – Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Men’s Basketball – Basketball starts October 4th. Friday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, except for “Family Game Night” Fridays.
Secret Sister Ministry – Connect with other women at FBCL and ("secretly") bless another sister in Christ for 6 months. Check the bulletin and web site for more details as they become available.
FBCL EVENTS
Welcome to the Linesville First Baptist Church Secret Sister Group! This is a group of ladies (18+ years) who connect and choose a fellow sister in Christ to bless for 6 months. This round of the ministry will be July-December. I plan to have your new names to you by June 14, 2026 We will meet in January 2027 for a get-together at the church, where we will reveal the name of the lady that we have been blessing. At that time, you can bring one final gift or card for your secret sister, and a card or gift for the woman who had you as a thank you!
In this ministry, you are to connect with your sister at least once per month. This could be a card, gift, note, etc. There is a basket to put gifts in that is located at the church, in the library. You will also be asked to pray for your person often.
The point of this ministry is to connect with other ladies in the church, as well as pray for and fellowship with them. We look forward to this experience together!
