Chris McLaughlin
Lead Pastor
I have been the Lead Pastor of FBCL since July, 2022. My wife Amy and I have been married for 12 years. We have three sons. I have a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Boston Baptist College and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty University. I am currently enrolled in a PhD program at Liberty University.
Our family enjoys sports, reading, and outdoor recreation such as hiking to waterfalls.

John and Jeanne Acklin have been active here at FBC since their marriage in 1971. John’s father was a former pastor here for 13 years. John is also the groundskeeper and serves as janitor for the south half of our building.

My name is Melinda Peters and I’m so happy to be serving as the Nursery & Preschool Coordinator! My husband and I have two sons, and our family has been part of this church for 16 years. I love watching children learn new things and seeing the simple joy they bring to those around them. I’m excited to create a fun, loving place where our youngest members can learn, grow, and feel welcomed.

Hello, I moved to the area in November of 2021, in large part to support the interests of my wife and daughters, who are avid horse/animal/nature lovers. My family consists of my wife of 25 years, Suellen, our daughters Miranda and Samantha, and our numerous pets. We currently reside on a small horse farm in Linesville.
