Sunday School
Sunday School meets every Sunday from 9:45 am to 10:45 am between our worship services. Below you will find a list of classes and the topics they are currently studying.

Our nursery room is staffed so that parents can attend classes.

Age Range: 3 years-Pre Kindergarten
This class uses the Faithweaver teaching material along with “Theo” the Faith retrieving Puppet who also has a lesson to go along with our Sunday School Lessons. They always allow the children to play before we begin our class @ 10:15 am. Singing and crafts are also part of the lesson.

Early Elementary Bible Beginnings
Typical Class: Start off singing a song, Then have sharing time relating to our lesson, Then read our Bible story, Do worksheets related to our story/lesson, Practice our memory verse for the month, Lesson Review, & Close in prayer.

What you are teaching: The 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday school class has been focusing this quarter on respect, holiness, and helpfulness in our Bible stories. We are learning through games about the parts of the Bible so that we can find and read out memory verses as well. We also have a craft project each week which goes with the lesson. When I ask our class what was their favorite part, they all said it was snack time! We have fun!

WOW! What a joy it has been to teach children about the Bible & watch them grow in the word. The children are very inquisitive & have many questions concerning the day's lesson & how it relates to their lives today. I encourage them to put God first in the context of daily activities & demands, choices they make about entertainment, doing their tasks & homework in such a way that it pleases God, or modeling Christ like behavior in their school & extracurricular activities. I have been using David C. Cook study guided for 4th-6th graders which are offered to me by the Christian Board of Education @ FBC. Right now (June-August) we are learning God rules follow His commandments. Along w/ the study guide we use the NIV Bibles we have available in the classroom & I also encourage the children to bring their own bibles. I have the children take turns to read out of the bible. I have encouraged the children to learn & recite " the scriptures like "the Our Father" & Psalms 23" . We also, do games, crafts & watch videos which are about the day's lesson. We also, get creative & decorate the classroom. Before class starts we share about their week & I asked the children if they have any prayer requests or any praise reports, we have prayer for their pets, grandparents or upcoming events. And, always we praise God for answered prayers. In our class we have anywhere from 6 to 12 children weekly. Please come in and visit our class. If you have children in this age group I encourage you to bring them to Sunday School. The children are the future. And It Is ALL ABOUT HIM!

Name of teacher: Pastor Elliott Stabler.
Presently this class is studying several old testament men (maybe a woman or two). In the next coming month this class will start on Biblical Prophecies.

This class is currently studying “All the Miracles of the Bible” a study by Herbert Lockyer. Anyone who is interested is welcome to join them.

Age Range: 7-70
What you are teaching: Presently we are studying in the New Testament (Thessalonians). We do a verse by verse study of each book of the Bible we study., with a lot of discussion and feedback from all members of the class. We enjoy studying God’s word and the fellowship we have with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

This class is for adults new to the faith or those looking for refresher on basic Christianity. A wonderful class to ask questions and receive group answers in.

Age Range: 68-91
What you are teaching: The Bible. We use Quartiles as we learn from God’s word. Our classes are full of discussion as we learn who God is and what he wants from us as we follow him through life.
We meet most months on the last Thursday of each month. We meet at a local restaurant at noon and have a time of fellowship.
